How do I choose between a starter pack, Essentials set, and Full Shop set?
Choose based on the number of drawers you want to identify and the level of detail you need. Starter packs cover a smaller group of common categories, Essentials sets expand the selection, and Full Shop sets are intended for broader organization. Should I choose the small or standard toolbox labels?
The current shop offers Small labels at approximately 5/8 inch tall and Standard labels at approximately 1 inch tall. Small labels work better on narrow drawer faces and compact carts. Standard labels provide greater visibility on most full-size toolboxes, cabinets, and shop storage.
Will the magnetic labels stick to my toolbox?
They attach to most clean, flat surfaces made from magnetic steel. Test the exact mounting location with a household magnet before ordering. Aluminum, plastic, wood, and some grades of stainless steel are not magnetic, and handles or trim may use a different material than the drawer face.
Can I substitute different label names in a preselected set?
Preselected sets are sold with the contents shown on their product pages. If you need a personalized nameplate, see our Custom Name Plates. For different wording, duplicates, or a different combination, please contact us to ask about options rather than relying on substitutions within a fixed set.
Do the labels use adhesive?
The standard toolbox label badges attach with magnets rather than adhesive. They can be lifted and repositioned when you reorganize your toolbox, without leaving adhesive residue. Keep the label and toolbox surface clean so trapped dirt or metal shavings do not mark the finish.
Where are ColKy toolbox labels made?
ColKy toolbox labels are designed, 3D printed, assembled, and prepared in Michigan. Because additive manufacturing builds parts layer by layer, minor layer lines, dimensional tolerances, material variations, and small color differences are normal manufacturing characteristics rather than automatic evidence of a defect.
Are magnetic toolbox labels safe for children or people with medical devices?
No. Products containing strong magnets and small parts are not toys and must be kept away from children and pets. Magnets can create a serious ingestion hazard and may interfere with pacemakers or other medical devices. Follow the device manufacturer's safe-distance instructions.
