What web accessibility is

An accessible site allows visitors with disabilities to browse with the same or a similar level of ease and enjoyment as other visitors. This can be achieved with the capabilities of the system the site runs on and through assistive technologies.

Our approach

We aim to conform to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 Level AA. We have not completed a formal accessibility audit, so some parts of the site may not yet fully meet that standard.

Steps we have taken

  • Set the language of the site
  • Used a clear heading structure on our pages
  • Added text descriptions (alt text) to images, and we are working to cover every product photo
  • Chosen text and background colors with readability in mind, and we are reviewing all pages for contrast

Third-party content

Some parts of our site are provided by other companies, including checkout and payment (Shopify, Shop Pay, PayPal, Google Pay) and customer reviews. We do not control the accessibility of these services, so they may not fully meet the standard.
